Hello and welcome to the blog. I guess you could say I’ve been addicted to beauty since a very young age. I was the only 8 year old girl I knew constantly re-arranging the furniture in my bedroom and making floral arrangements from the flowers in my backyard. Even at a young age, I realized I “felt” better when my room was neat, organized and most of all beautiful.
As a designer and retail store owner, I get to see beautiful things everyday. This is certainly one reason I do what I do. I never tire of creating beautiful spaces, whether it’s for a client, in my shop or my own home. Beauty is everywhere and I started the On Madison Blog to point out that inspiration comes from many sources.
I’m inspired by fashion, art, architecture, film, food, travel, you name it. Diana Vreeland famously said “the eye has to travel.” To have a curious eye, means you have to feed it. Hopefully, On Madison and Madison Modern Blog can help your eyes get their daily diet of fabulous!
