Sometimes I wonder how something so old can seem so modern and au courant. The phrase “getting better with age” doesn’t only pertain to fine wine, and it is certainly the case with furniture designers such as Brueton. Brueton has been around for over 80 years and are still manufacturing high end contemporary furniture from their headquarters in New York.
Even if you don’t know who designed it, most everyone recognizes the classic Brueton dining chair, as shown below. A true mid-century classic, it is clean and modern and fits into virtually every decor. But, Brueton is so much more.
