Spring 2015 Trends: Love It In Leather

I make no secret that I love leather. Leather, hair-on-hide, suede, fur—I mean is there anything more luxurious? Thankfully, leather is a Spring must-have. But this season, leathers are shown in paler, softer shades that echo Spring’s quiet arrival. In shades of nude, cream, soft grays and pale taupes. Leather can say Springtime as well as floral.

On Madison has put together a collage of our favorite leather looks both in fashion and home décor that will usher in modern Spring chic.

Spring 2015 Trends: Modern Floral

Spring 2015’s Modern Floral trend: If you follow this blog, you’ll know that I don’t generally show many florals. Florals, especially small scale florals or certain colors of florals, feel excessively feminine and, for me at least, don’t generally make my list of timeless design.

But this Spring, florals are here with a vengeance. I’m talking big, bold, edgy modern florals that are not one bit girly or fussy. On Madison has assembled our favorite uses of flower power that announce Spring is here in the chicest possible way!

Denim Chic- Spring 2015 Trends

I mean, who doesn’t love blue jeans? They’re the ultimate high/low item in everyone’s closet. They can go daytime worn with a t-shirt or evening paired with a cashmere sweater and strappy sandals.

Denim does the same double duty in the home as well. Casual or uptown, denim manages to be both hip and classic at the same. On Madison has assembled some denim looks that do just that.
