We have had some blisteringly hot days here in Pasadena the last few weeks and, mercifully, it is starting to cool down. The mornings are beginning to get that misty coolness and the light is starting to bend in that certain way that signals FALL is right around the corner.  This is undoubtedly my favorite time of the year ( I married my darling husband on a picture perfect Fall day) and one of the chief reasons, other than the weather, is the clothes are the absolute best.

This year, it is all about biker chic.  I confess that I am a sucker for leather, and, God help me, especially black leather.  So I set out searching for the best biker jackets and boots that would make a fashion statement while maintaining a relatively dignified air for a woman of a certain age.  Here is my wish list in no particular order, except one.

Enough said.  There were no other candidates remotely in the running. This is the black leather moto jacket for the gal that’s going to pair this with a killer strand of pearls, enormous diamond stud earrings,  a black cashmere sweater, impeccable skinny jeans and a black crocodile Hermes Kelly bag.  Think Grace Kelly on a Harley-Davidson.
